Ocean Blue

I hear the ocean waves crash upon the shore

The cool blue water brushes against my feet I watch as the water line begins to recede

Slowly pulling outwards, then coming back again This reminds me of you

A refreshing feeling that you can't quite hold onto

A peaceful place, where worry washes away

Your ocean blue eyes, a home for serenity An ocean can hold so much beneath its surface

I often wondered what you hid beneath yours

They say a person's eyes are a window to their soul But your eyes told a thousand stories, none of which I knew
